404 Error Fix

The 404 error is a common issue encountered when surfing the web or trying to access the website.This status code mean that the page you are trying to access may have been deleted or moved.

404 error is a browser issue. It may mean that the login may have expired for being logged in too long or the cookies/cache of the site has expired

 

1. Basic Troubleshooting for 404 Error

There are a variety of reasons why you might get a 404 error. Primarily, the login may have expired for being logged in too long or the cookies/cache of the site has expired. We recommend that you perform the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Log out of the website and clear your browser cookies and cache 
  2. Log back into your PassionProduct App Builder/PassionFighters App using a different browser: Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome
  3. Use an incognito tab (For Windows, Linux, or Chrome OS: Press Ctrl + Shift + n | For Mac: Press ⌘ + Shift + n)

 

2. 404 Error on Checkout Page

If it’s a 404 error related to clicking a checkout page, you may want to check the following on your app builder:

 

PassionApps - Make sure all the checkmarks are shaded green. If you see a tab that is greyed out, it means you are missing the required information. Go through each page and find the fields with an asterisk (*) signs that you may have not filled out:

PassionApps > Basics Page - Make sure that there is no missing information such as the example below:

Checkout URL - If you are using PassionPayments, leave the checkout URL field of the pricing plan widget blank.

Pricing Plan - Your pricing plan should include courses inside it, otherwise, the payment link might not work or your clients won’t be able to access the courses. Another thing is, your pricing plan must be active. Connecting an archived pricing plan to your sales page will cause an error.

Publish button - Publish all the changes. If you are unable to click Publish, it means that all changes are updated.
